Who we are?
HarfangLab is a cybersecurity scale-up, and we have developed an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) software to detect and mitigate modern cyberattacks on a company's workstations and servers. Our algorithms detect abnormal behaviors and generate security alerts or block program execution.
From 50 employees in 2023 to 115 as of now, HarfangLab is experiencing hypergrowth and has already achieved several significant milestones: winners of the Ministry of Defense's cyber challenge in 2019, recipients of the BPI's I-Nov competition in 2020, and software certified by ANSSI in 2021.
Our initial clients include CAC40 industrial companies and government entities. We completed our first funding round of €5 million in 2021 and our second funding round of €25 millions in 2023, which will enable us to strengthen our teams, and to expand internationally in Europe.
Our mission is to protect businesses and government agencies from modern cybersecurity threats (cybercrime, data theft, influence) that endanger the economic health of companies and the security of the nation.
Why are we hiring?
HarfangLab is experiencing growth and expanding internationally. We are seeking our
first Pre-Sales engineer dedicated to the Benelux Market.
What you will do with us?
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, your mission will include:
- Demonstrating our product to customers, which involves understanding their needs, adapting the presentation to suit the person you are talking to, answering questions and presenting the differentiating points of our EDR,
- Planning, organizing, and conducting proof of concepts, including presenting the approach, answering questions, assisting with installation and initial use of the solution,
- Be the technical lead to answer RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with the sales representative,
- Managing the project defense: after the RFI/RFP phase, meetings with high-level customers are necessary to present our solution and the advantages of our product,
- Developing relationships with partners, by training pre-sales teams and acting as a technical partner with the Channel to develop partnership relations.
You will also have an important role to play to:
- Help promote new features,
- Be a driving force behind proposals to update the technical offerings,
- Represent the company at cybersecurity-related events.
Hard Skills
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar job,
- You possess general knowledge of cybersecurity and IT systems, in general,
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English,
- Experience in the field of cybersecurity would be a significant plus, specifically as a member of a SOC team.
Soft skills
- You are recognized for your personal qualities such as empathy, humility, diligence, and ethics,
- Strong analytical and communication skills, comfortable leading meetings with high level decision makers and also highly technical customers,
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies,
- You are curious about technology and always search to understand it,
- You know how to work in a team, and you especially enjoy it!
- You are organized, structured and has good writing skills both in Dutch and English.

3: A 2-hour meeting at our office in Paris: 1 to 1.5 hours of job interview and 30 minutes of team fit,
4: A final HR video meeting to assess your soft skills and motivations.
